100 Million White Tara Mantra Project
Dear all Dharma Friends,

Thank you for the great effort! The numbers of mantra count are
coming in, and we are in the midst of consolidating the number count
before we post it online, so keep it coming in!

Dri Thubten Dargye Ling is hoping to accumulate 100 millions White
Tara mantra recitation from all rinpoche's disciples worldwide for the
Long Life of our precious Guru, H.E. Garchen Rinpoche, and as
well as for world peace and harmony.


WE WELCOME EVERYONE WORLDWIDE TO JOIN IN! Participants can
recite the mantra at home and email their mantra count to us at
events@dargye-ling.com. We will then consolidate and update the
mantra count monthly on our website.

Sponsorship for New Centre

Dear friends of DTDL,
We are very delighted to share with you this great piece of news that our
centre finally has a home! Our centre is conveniently located at Blk 803
King's George Avenue #02-250 (see attached map, corner right hand
corner, next to Blk 807 and near to Lavender MRT station).  

Currently, we have worked out the estimated costs for the new centre:
Centre's Renovation & Shrine Setup and Offering items: S$60,000
Monthly Operating Costs: S$3,000

We sincerely would like to appeal for your sponsorship in whatever way
possible to setting up the new premise.  In return for your kind efforts, for
contributions above $500, the names of sponsors shall be stated on a
sponsorship board and shall be read out with dedications during our
weekly pujas and events

Monthly Phowa Practice - 15th on Tibetan Calendar

Dear Dharma brothers and sisters,

We are pleased to announce our monthly group practice of the Great
Drikung Phowa Chenmo will be led by our resident Vajramaster Dorzin
Konchok Dhondup at the upcoming Tibetan 15th  on 16th August 2008,
Saturday.

This shall be a monthly practice on every Tibetan 15th, following our 3
days' Drikung Phowa Chenmo Retreat held at Tai Pei Buddhist Centre,
June 2008 led by our most precious His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche.  


Details of our monthly phowa practice are as follows:-
Date: 16th August 2008, Saturday (Tibetan 15th)
Time: 3pm to 5pm
Venue: Meditation Room at Tai Pei Buddhist Centre (Level 3)


Pre-requisites to attend:
Retreatants who attended Drikung Phowa Chenmo Retreat.

Participants who have received the teaching and transmission of Drikung
Phowa Chenmo.
